THE SHORT EXPOSURE

Since my student days, when I first set out to explore the world with nothing but a backpack and a notepad, I have been deeply passionate about communication. This passion led me to become a professional journalist, and soon after, I paired my pen with a camera, merging writing and photography into a single expressive language.
My photographic work is dynamic and multifaceted, spanning from personal projects to commercial assignments. Among my most significant initiatives is Riscatti, an annual photography exhibition dedicated to social issues, which I have been organizing in collaboration with the Milan Contemporary Art Pavilion since 2014.
On the professional front, I specialize in editorial and social media assignments, corporate and advertising campaigns, and international event coverage for a wide range of brands.
In 2016, I joined Sony Italia as an Imaging ambassador, having already transitioned from DSLR to a mirrorless system in 2014.
In July 2017, together with Federico Bernini and Marcello Fauci, I decided to found VisualCrew, an agency dedicated to visual communication strategies and services. The company was officially established in 2018 and is built upon a global network of professional photographers and videographers.
In 2025, I co-founded Ipermedia, a social enterprise that redefines communication by creating immersive storytelling ecosystems. Through a multidisciplinary approach that integrates photography, video, and audio, Ipermedia develops tailored projects to help organizations, institutions, and social enterprises expand their reach and enhance their impact. Beyond content production, the company is committed to social and educational initiatives, fostering new ways to communicate and engage diverse audiences.
I am also the co-founder and director of Witness Journal, an online magazine launched in 2007 that continues to promote photojournalism and social photography through editorial initiatives and educational programs.
