Ri-Scatti is a no profit organization that use photography for social purposes since 2015. Homeless, migrants, teens suffering from cancer diseases, people survived to an earthquake, victims of bullism, sex workers, young patients with eating disorders and people living in jail have already been the protagonists of our projects
Ri-Scatti main project is an yearly exhibition organized together with Milano Contemporary Art Pavillion.
The process is very simple: we choose a topic, than we find a partner (an institution/organization) to cooperate with, in order to produce the photographic exhibition. Indeed, photographers are not pros but people involved in first person into each exhibit's themes.
Through a 12/16 lessons workshop, RiScatti photographic team together with the curator of PAC Milano, help and guide the authors to tell their personal stories with just one goal: let future exhibit's visitors understand better what does it means to live in such troubles.
Last but not least, the total proceeds coming from the sale of the exhibited photographs and official catalogs are entirely donated to the same association that participated in the project, helping us to select the authors. The idea is to support future activities of these essentials no profit organizations
